Frequently Asked Questions

Consultations, custom manufacturing, motorisation, lead times, warranty and care — answered plainly.

Consultation & Process

A typical in-home consultation runs 45 to 60 minutes. We bring physical samples, measure every opening, talk through how each room is actually used, and leave you with a written quote. There is no charge and no obligation.

We cover Surrey, White Rock, Langley, Delta, Coquitlam, Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford and Vancouver. If you are just outside that list, call us — we often can still help.

Standard products are typically installed two to three weeks after you approve the quote. Motorised and specialty fabrics can run three to four weeks. We give you a firm date at the time of order, not a range.

We take 50% on order and the balance on completed installation. If anything is not right at handover, you do not pay the balance until it is.

Products & Options

Yes — every blind is built to the measurements we take in your home. Nothing is cut down from a stock size, which is why the fit is clean at the edges and the shade does not bind in the track.

Almost every product in our range can be motorised. Most clients choose our rechargeable lithium motors, which need no wiring at all — you charge them roughly twice a year through a USB-C port hidden in the end cap.

Bring us a photo, a paint chip, or a fabric offcut and we will bring samples that work with it. We keep a physical sample library of every fabric we sell rather than relying on screen colour, which is never accurate.

Regularly. Arches, angled ceilings, bay windows, skylights and windows above stairwells are all workable — these are exactly the cases where custom manufacturing earns its cost.

Warranty

Five years on all mechanisms, motors and fabric defects, plus our own labour to put it right. Motor batteries are covered for two years. Damage from misuse or alteration is not covered.

Safety

Yes. Every product is available cordless or motorised, and any corded product ships with a child-safety cord tensioner fitted as standard. For homes with young children we default to cordless unless you tell us otherwise.

Care & Aftercare

Most fabrics need nothing more than regular dusting with a soft brush attachment. Roller and zebra fabrics can be spot-cleaned with a barely damp cloth. Wood and woven wood should stay dry — dust only.

Yes. We stock chains, end caps, clips, brackets, wands and side channels for everything we install, and we keep your order specification on file so replacements match exactly.

Still have a question?

Call us and ask. We would rather talk you out of the wrong product than sell it to you.
